1-Year Warranty
Celtech Products include a one-year manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase. Some exceptions apply.
CELTECH TERMS OF SERVICE, LIMITED HARDWARE WARRANTY
Celtech Security Sdn. Bhd ("Celtech") warrants, to the original purchaser (the "Purchaser" or "You") only, that this Celtech branded product (the "Product"), if properly installed and used thereafter in strict accordance with the use and care guidelines provided in the instructions manual, shall be free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship. Celtech only warrants Products purchased from Celtech directly or authorized Celtech dealers (Please visit www.celtech.com.my for the list of authorized Celtech dealers), contained in the original packaging. Please note that the limited warranty only applies to hardware components and not to any software elements of Celtech Product.
Length of Warranty
The Celtech warranty covers the Product for one (1) year from the documented date of purchase. The purchase date must be documented with either an original sales receipt from the first retailer selling the Product.
Celtech's Obligations
Celtech's obligations under this warranty are limited, at its sole option, either to:
- Repair the Product found by Celtech to be defective; or
- Replace entire unit or, in Celtech's sole discretion, the Product if it is found by Celtech to be defective.
Products may be repaired with new or refurbished parts, and may be replaced with new or refurbished products, of the same or similar model as the replaced Product, or of materially equivalent or superior quality, at the sole discretion of Celtech. Repaired and replacement Products will be warranted to the Purchaser under the Celtech Terms of Service, Limited Hardware Warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period or ninety (90) days from the date of shipment to Purchaser, whichever is longer. Any replaced Product or part becomes the property of Celtech.
Warranty Limitations, Exclusions & Disclaimers
This warranty is invalidated if non-Celtech accessories are or have been used in connection with the Product, or if any modification or repair is made to the Product by any service depot or other person not authorized by Celtech. This warranty does not apply to defects in or damages to the Product caused by (i) negligent use of the Product,(ii) misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, repair or improper installation of the Product, (iii) electrical short circuits or transients, (iv) heat, humidity, moisture or temperatures beyond product specifications (v) use of replacement parts not supplied by Celtech (vi) improper Product maintenance, or (vii) accident, fire, flood or other Acts of God.
This warranty does not extend to firmware or software accompanying, included with, or embedded in the Celtech Products ("Software") or mobile apps provided by Celtech for the operation of Celtech Products ("Apps") , nor does it extend to any cloud service provided by Celtech ("Cloud Service"). Software, Cloud Service and Apps are provided "as is" and Celtech does not guarantee that they will be error-free or function without interruption.
This warranty does not cover data loss, or costs related to data recovery. Celtech makes no warranty that the software provided with the Product will function without interruption or otherwise be free of anomalies, errors or viruses. This warranty does not cover any costs relating to removal, replacement, or installation of any Product, regardless of whether the Product is found by Celtech to be defective, or software installed on the user's computer.
Celtech reserves the right to make changes to its products without incurring any obligation to modify any product that has already been manufactured. This warranty does not cover any alteration or damage to any other software that may be or may become resident on the users system as a result of installing the software provided.
What Should I Do If My Product is Out Of Warranty?
If your product’s warranty has expired, our team can still help you diagnose and resolve issues at no charge.
Please note, though, that free replacements are not available once the warranty period is over.
If you’d like to have the product repaired, there may be additional costs for inspection and shipping. In some cases, these expenses can approach the value of the item itself, and the repair process may take some time to complete.
Because of this, you may want to consider upgrading instead. Newer models often include improved features, better performance, and updated technology—potentially offering greater value than repairing an older product
